Sheff Richey

Sheffield “Sheff” Richey, Director, Government Affairs, is responsible for coordinating ASHA’s public policy efforts on Capitol Hill and administering the Seniors Housing PAC (SH PAC).

Prior to joining ASHA, Sheff worked as a political fundraiser and advisor for 16 Members of Congress. He started in the field of political fundraising working for former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) as a lead fundraiser for his re-election campaign and Leadership Political Action Committee (LPAC). In that role he also advised the Majority Leader on political races around the country. Sheff started working on Capitol Hill in the Majority Leader’s Capitol Leadership Office.

Sheff received his B.A. in Politics from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA. He is from Alexandria, VA.
